Arch Info
Comprehensive Website for information center for Finnish architecture
Project tasks
We designed and developed both the frontend and backend of the website using Next.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. The design focused on a clean, modern aesthetic that highlights the beauty and significance of Finnish architecture
We implemented Strapi as the CMS to provide ArchInfo with a powerful and user-friendly admin interface. This allowed the team to easily manage and update content, including articles, events, and other resources related to Finnish architecture
We developed a robust database using PostgreSQL to store all the site’s publications and other content. This ensured efficient data retrieval and management, providing a seamless user experience and supporting the site’s scalability
The website was designed to dynamically display a wide range of content, including news articles, event announcements, and resource materials. Each piece of content was presented with high-quality visuals and structured layouts to engage visitors and promote Finnish architecture effectively
We focused on creating an intuitive navigation system and powerful search functionality to help users easily find relevant information. This included categorizing content by topics, tags, and dates, and providing advanced search filters
The site incorporated interactive elements and multimedia content, such as photo galleries, videos, and interactive maps. These features enhanced user engagement and provided a rich, immersive experience for visitors
To ensure the website ranks well on search engines and performs efficiently, we implemented SEO best practices and performance optimizations. This included optimizing metadata, improving site speed, and ensuring mobile responsiveness
Given the extensive data management involved, we implemented robust security measures to protect the site’s data and ensure user privacy. This included secure authentication processes, data encryption, and regular security audits
